Registration Now Open for the 2013-2014 Season - The Portland Youth Rock Orchestra is now registering students for the up and coming 2013-2014 season. Electric guitarists, drummers, bassists, string players and all traditional orchestral musicians ages 7-23 are encouraged to register. Working with Local Schools - The Portland Youth Rock Orchestra is working with Portland Public Schools as well as other public school districts around Oregon and Washington. PYRO encourages kids to become involved in their local school band, orchestra and choir programs. In addition to private music instruction, this is one of the best ways for student musicians to develop and for the local music community to grow and thrive.
